Day 1: FES – Ifran – Azrou- Erfoud – Rissani- Merzouga- CAMP (ERG CHEBBI)
2 days fes sahara tour to Marrakech starts with a morning pick up from FES CITY Airport/Hotel/Riad.
Driving through the Middle atlas; you can clearly observe small hidden houses as well as Berber women carrying firewood. We will visit the so-called Moroccan Switzerland “Ifran city’ as it has a fascinating European architecture. Next; feed macaque monkeys while discovering the cedar forests of AZROU followed by a lovely lunch at Midelt city.
In our way to the desert; the road will be full of big palm trees, beautiful oases & valleys (ziz valley), and fossil workshops. Merzouga city is where we will arrange a small stop to carry the needed equipments to spend an overnight at the camp. The native Berbers will help you experience an adventurous camel trekking to ERG CHEBBI high dunes during the sunset. In addition, they will amuse you by singing berber music and serving you delicious dish for lunch while camping in the desert.
Day 2: Merzouga – Ouarzazate -Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
The magical sunrise will totally cover the dunes creating breathtaking scenery. On the second day of 2 days fes sahara tour to Marrakech; you will return to Merzouga village while camel trekking. Having finished your morning breakfast & shower; we will get ready to drive to Marrakech passing by the lovely Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou at Ouarzazate province.
After that, visit the Hollywood city “Ouarzazate” film studios and Taourirt Kasbah. Then, visit the ancient palace of Ait Ben Haddou. The latter is a beautiful Kasbah that was belongs to the Glaoui Pasha of MARRAKECH and which now listed among the list of the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE.
The tour will end once arriving to the Red city of Marrakech where we would be very happy to drive you to your accommodation.
